Setso Project honors the generosity of those who give. . .

For me, giving to Setso and helping people in need is the next best thing to actually going to Botswana and working myself, which I wish I could do!

Being intimately involved with Setso from the start, I feel good knowing how even a small donation can change a life so dramatically. On a day to day basis, I know the lives of those we interact with are more difficult than I have ever experienced, but I also know how much it means to Setso staff and recipients to be reminded that people on the other side of the world care about enhancing their day.

Education and sharing with those around us are both very important to our family. And with two young kids, we feel it is our responsibility to help others in order to build a better world not just for them, but for everyone.

Setso Project is a labor of love. There's a clear need out there for families battling AIDS, and we donors can do something to help in a very direct way through Setso, which gets the money to people and projects right in Botswana without the middle men. Through Becca and Wame and Billy, we have a direct connection. So we're people directly reaching out to people, in a personal way, and that is very soul-satisfying to me!

Not only does giving to Setso Project allow me to share some of my good fortune, it also represents a philosophy of charitable giving that I believe deeply in. Contributions to Setso Project allow people in Botswana to identify for themselves the most pressing and urgent needs face by their communities and it allows them to determine for themselves the best way to help.

Setso Project reminds me that we are all connected to the rest of the world. When I make a donation, I feel that I am helping to build a better world, not just in Botswana but also wherever I live. And, every time, it makes me thankful for how lucky I am to live here in the land of abundance.

Setso Project has been a great motivator for our church's Youth Group. It's awesome to be able to give directly to a small charity that is run by someone we know and trust. We love being able to see exactly what our donations are being put towards and to see photos of the people whose lives we are so directly affecting through working with Setso.
